It all started over 76 years ago...

When everyone else settled for vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins had the crazy idea of offering 31 flavors of ice cream – one for every day of the month. Burt and Irv were absolutely nuts about ice cream (Irv even had an ice-cream-cone-shaped swimming pool). Their passion was contagious, and we like to think our 1300+ flavors have made the world a yummier place since opening back in 1945.

1970

Baskin-Robbins expands internationally!

2005

In celebration of its 60th year, Baskin-Robbins sets another Gunness World Record for the world’s largest cup of ice cream, a single scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, weighing in at 4021kg (8,865 pounds)

2006

Bold Breezes® (now re-named Fruit Blasts) arrives into stores across the country. Baskin-Robbins celebrates 60 years of providing innovative, high quality ice cream treats with over 1,000 flavours in the flavour library.

2008

Signature ice cream cakes are introduced to make very moment an occasion.

2011

Baskin-Robbins announced the opening of its 4,00th international location, in Novena Square, Singapore. This location is also the brand’s first shop in Singapore and the 48th country in which Baskin-Robbins has a presence.

2020's

Baskin-Robbins is rebuilding the brand in the image of the past but with an eye on the future by creating relevance through quality flavours, imaginative storytelling and allowing guests to interact with the brand in unique and fun ways!
